“Building Brighter Futures” is more than just a strapline—it’s the shared heartbeat of two unique Children’s Villages that operate as one family.
Lily of the Valley Children’s Village, backing onto the Tala Game Reserve near Hammarsdale, is home to 85 children. Not too far away, iKhethelo Children’s Village sits peacefully in the KwaNyuswa Valley, just below the Rob Roy Retirement Village, and provides care for 45 children.

Though distinct in location, both Villages are united under one Board of Directors and a shared CEO team, driven by a deep passion to see every child grow into their God-given destiny.
Children live in warm, family-style cottages, of between 6 to 8 children and a dedicated caregiver. Together, they share meals, do chores, and enjoy life as any loving family would—building strong bonds and creating joyful memories.

Currently, Lily of the Valley’s remote location limits access to the quality of education we believe every child deserves. That’s why we are planning to relocate the village to Merrivale in the future—where a broader range of educational opportunities is available.
