Christian Care Centre T/A Lily of the Valley Children's Village is relocating to a new site. We’ve purchased a beautiful farm in Merrivale, near Howick (KZN), and are now embarking on an exciting journey to raise funds for a BRAND NEW, ECO-FRIENDLY VILLAGE—purposefully designed to give our 85 children, and generations to come, the brightest possible future.

The hall will be a 200 seater hall (443 m2) for indoor sporting activities, Village Church Services etc. It will also have a full size industrial kitchen with it to allow for food to be prepared for the houses. The build also includes food storage facilities, office and waste removal facilities.

The Impact the Villages Make

Rooted in love and built on faith, these homes have cared for over 130 children for more than 25 years, focusing on four pillars: spiritual growth, health, education, and a nurturing environment. WHy Move the Village?
Why move to a new location?
EDUCATION is one of the keys to breaking the orphan & poverty cycle in South Africa. Unfortunately in our area we are 50 km away from good fee paying schools which is where we are already sendig some children & want to send most of our children.
By moving the village to the new farm that we have found we will have access to a huge amount of amazing schools for our children. Theyare all located close to the new farm & will save us thousands in petrol costs.
Funds have been raised to purchase the farm. Offer has been accepted & payment made. Transfer should take place before the end of the year!

New location Tour Episode 1?
Welcome to our first video tour of our new Children's Village site (in Faith). Located in Merrivale (between Hilton & Howick) this farm is the most perfect location for our children.
The full R7M has been raised and the farm has been purchased. We are now embarking on sourcing architects, and pre-development plans for rezoning the property.
