Short-Term Volunteering

We value having volunteers at Lily. Volunteering takes on many forms here at the village. We have teams giving up a day to come do activities with the children. Teams coming for a couple of days in the holidays. Individuals also come and volunteer, painting, fixing – whatever your skills are? you can make a difference.

Craft Activities

Games & Sports

A huge thank you to St Henry’s Marist College who recently spent a day with us, playing fun games with the children, doing amazing craft activities and bringing along Easter Egss and home made biscuits and food for the children. St Henry’s commit to visiting us a number of times in the year, and we are so greatful for their love and support.

RECENT VISITS …

GRACE COLLEGE

As part of a joint venture with Tala Spirit of Adventure, we welcomed Grace College, who sopent a day with us bringing some donations they had collected & also doing some activities with the children.

YYAM TEAM VISIT

LOVE QUILT PROJECT

Our children were so blessed to have The Love Quily Project visit us all the way from the USA where the children each received a beautfully made quilt and were taught around the the theme, Be Kind!

Long-Term Volunteering

We are also curtrently looking for long-term international volunteers or local, to consider taking 3 months or longer to come and live at the village and be a part of our team. Volunteers would need to raise their own funds to cover their own living expenses but Lily can offer free accomodation when we have space – contact us to find out more.

We are currently renovating two houses to accomodate international volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering at Lily and living onsite, please get in touch. All volunteers will need to raise their own funds to support themselves and if space allows, we can provide accomodation which is free apart from a small monthly fee to cover water and electricity.

We recommend a minimum of 3 months for live onsite volunteers.
